We are a multimedia electronic music act from Leeds/York called Mass Movement.

Recently we released our debut EP Bringing the Funk..., which features groove-orientated melodic songs and later in 2010 we will release ...And Opening The Trapdoors Of Chance, which will focus on more esoteric and emotionally-charged material.

We have also been busy preparing visuals to compliment the live performances. Our live events will be based on different themes encompassing political, social and environmental concerns. Videos and images will present ideas about these subjects, leaving the audience to decide their own opinion and providing a unique experience every time. Meanwhile the musical performance will involve remixing the songs on the spot and incorporating new elements using Ableton Live and a Novation Launchpad. This has already been demonstrated with a handpicked BBC Music Live performance.
