I love to write and I am passionate about Art in all its forms. I like to write about Art, Music and more generally Life. My music is in essence based around songwriting, but it also contains my feelings,the experiences I have had when younger,and sometimes it shows where I went wrong in the subverted writing formula. Music and singing are becoming a joy to me now as I feel free to make my mistakes and have successes equally. I want to mix my love of music with my love of Painting, Writing and Performance Art. I love good writing, be it Poetry or Prose. This CD is an experiment using various different recording methods from 4 track to live and then over to underground reel to reel in Berlin! I wrote the songs over a very long period of time,starting at 22 years old,and that is why it is called DEMO along with the fact that I am Demonstrating against the harm caused to women and Children in the D.R.C. At times, especially on very early recordings,I just wanted to see how far it would go if I allowed myself to be influenced or produced. I love the title track DEMO and the single Starfish, but they are worlds apart in production. Many people seem to like Caravan Song, written about Pegwell Bay Kent; also they love my front room four track called Ashes. I think the next album will be more accoustic and generally less of an experiment, as although I love some of the results I believe that you must not bury your back bone too much. At the moment I focus on finding peace .I am practising eliminating negative thought as a path to complete wellness. I have always written songs, only now I started to play them to people, before I didn't as I was told I was not good enough, in one way or, in another,and I needed to experience believing the tellers. Finally one day I did not believe them anymore! I learnt that: We are all good enough. I am Strong and Beautiful and so are you!!!

This professional DEMO CD was put together by Bernadette and distributed when her Father was dying of cancer. It has gone on sale to raise money for women and children who have suffered in war experience. It is linked to the registered charity V-Day who collect for and support women and girls in disaster zones.

AvIm Augenblick konzentriere ich mich darauf Frieden zu finden. Ich praktiziere glaube daran negative Gedanken zerstören zu können, um auf den Pfad der Gesundung zu gelangen. Ich habe schon immer Lieder geschrieben und möcht sie jetzt den Menschen näher bringen, davor ist mir gesagt worden, ich wäre auf die eine oder andere Art nicht gut genug. Durch die Erfahrungen, die ich aufgrund der Falschen Ratschläge gemacht habe, lernte ich eines Tages, dass wir alle gut sind, so wie wir sind. Ich bin stark und wunderschön... so wie Ihr es seid.

This is my show place right now, but this year I really hope to to start rehearsals in Kent for a live band and a new CD- which I hope and believe will become the ultimate step for me in becoming a singer songwriter of some worth. Thank You for visiting my page.
