In addition to being an author, Marianne is also an award-winning documentary filmmaker and award-winning humanitarian. Her first movie was about Viet Nam vets returning to give something back to Viet Nam and heal their wounds of war. Her second movie entailed traveling around the world asking people from all walks of life how we can make world peace. She has traveled to all 50 states and over 60 countries and has directed a number of humanitarian programs, both at home and abroad.
After growing up in New York State and living in California for many years, Marianne lives with her family in Lawrence, Kansas.
