Great blade man, I'm always up for mods on katana. I especially like the handle, real original stuff. Although you kinda ruined the advantage of the Oniyuri by giving it a normal length tsuka. If it was built with a longer tsuka that would be a million times better.

Relax man, that's post operation. Most likely they took that picture for the various files and records I imagine vets keep on all of their severe cases. Besides, if they removed the arrow imediately, it would have most likely killed the thing due to blood loss and or shock.
