I was born of Jamaican immigrants in the cultural soup of Miami, Florida. I grew up surrounded by language made up of metaphor and story, which influenced my ability to see the world as images. My creations are archetypal, earthy and imaginative. The raw emotion of the story within is the vital element to my work and the impulse behind why I create.
