I play and teach the bass and am in the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. I have been a professional musician a long time. My father (Philip Sklar) was the principal bassist in the NBC Symphony Orchestra under Toscannini. I conduct The August Symphony Orchestra, a very good community orchestra playing in the summer in Springfield, NJ.
