Whilst being an atheist since I was a choirboy, in 1974, it was only when I got to see the antics of believers on the internet that I decided that something has to be done. The cosy view that truth will always win because it is the truth needs to be challenged. It is complacent. People get far more attached to comfortable well crafted lies than they ever get to the simple truth. Religion is dangerous, it should be confronted and not given a free ride.

There can be no freedom without freedom of thought and religion attacks this freedom head on.

Atheism is not a religion. Saving people from the mind slavery of religion is a political act and a humanitarian duty. Atheist and secular activism is not religious activity, it is political action required because religious people feel no shame in shoving their religious beliefs into everything they come across.
