@Martialist101 Korean or Japanese ARTS, They both have this technique. I thought the flag seemed Korean on the Uniform but I think it is Jap and the OSU gives it away as being japanese.

Correction, if using the ball of the foot to execute this kick is it called "HOOKING KICK" and if using the Side/blade of foot it is called "TWIST KICK" Either way the same principles apply.

@Martialist101 When the HIP is open/properly positioned the whole leg turns not the knee. And don't forget the supporting foot also. The supporting foot has to pivot exactly at the right time as the hip opens up. All one motion. I love this kick and use all the time and it is very effective.
