About this user

Marsea has taught samba and other dance classes in Santa Cruz for over twenty years and has led groups of adults and children into the world of dance with love and enthusiasm from the Bay area to Hawaii and beyond. She has studied in Brazil and participated in Rio Carnaval. She also studied West African, Cuban, Haitian, and Caribbean dance and incorporates rhythmic signatures and dance steps into her warm-ups and choreography. Marsea is also the founder and artistic director of Dance of Brazil and Tropicalismo, a Brazilian performance troupe that performs across the Bay Area.
