I test drove a Fathom F113 this past weekend and wasn't impressed at all. The room at the audio dealer was really small though and probably didn't do the sub justice. In any case, I'm still not sold on its performance...

I auditioned this amp a few days ago at a local dealer and was surprised with its sound and power output. 50 REAL watts of power is a lot more than one really thinks (I'm not talking Best Buy watts here). The transients are amazing - it's what impressed me most about this amp. It's not designed...

There's no point buying the 8170. It's the same thing as the 8150 but clocked a little higher. Its similar to the current 1090t vs 1100t. Same CPU, but a slightly higher clock speed on the 1100t.

You're buying this CPU to overclock the snot out of it to 5 GHz. Get the 8150 and get the job done.

Please run Metro 2033 on three monitors at 2560 x 1600 on each monitor (or a total of (4800 x 2560), keeping the monitors in portrait orientation.
