AL has a great little church in Memphis --get ready for 2-3 hour services where there's lots of singing --he never did get into a sermon more than one or two sentences. He does music for income for his church. We walked from his church to Graceland abt 2 miles (which was closed).

We went to Al Green's church service in Memphis abt 10 years ago--afterwards he saw us outside and asked us if we wanted a ride. We declined as a cab "was coming" We had a nice several mile walk to the Elvis estate as the cab never came. Al was great.

The beauty of Chopin is that even if you don't add any interpretations or expressions the musci is so well written that it still emotes -even if tried to play it mechanically. Chopin's piano was different also remember - maybe a more mechanical piano.
