About Me:
First of all, everything about Marie Antoinette is multi-dimensional. In addition to her musical skills, she`s been modeling for websites and stores in Norway, writes for the magazine Gudinne.no. She enjoys painting, acting, dancing, making websites, worked as a leader in an culture organization and also photographes in a professional studio. She likes to study languages (as french, spanish and english) and has at the university studied arabaic just for fun. Beeing creative is a "must", and only the sky is the limit for her. Maybe that`s why it`s so easy to like her persona?
Childhood
Marie Antoinette comes from a very artistic family -from both sides, there is several members of the family that have worked professional as singers (like opera), musicians and painters. In other words, it`s in her blood. She started to sing in a choir at the age of eight. Her talent was dicovered early, and she sang solo at many of their concerts. In co-operation with another choir, the two choirs from Sem and Slagen recorded "Et lite barn så lystigt". Later that year she started to play the flute in one of the countys best marching bands. She started to learn the piano when she was 15 and has later tried to learn both the guitar and violin. From the age of 16-19 she went to the "Music, dance and drama" school in Sandefjord and studied music intensely. She also helped conducting her mums choir before moving to Oslo.
The Later years
In Oslo, Marie Antoinette studied at the University of Oslo and got a B.A. in Cultural studies and The history of Arts. She`s been active as a boardmember at Kulturentusiastene (a well known opera organization), worked as a leader for Blinderns kulturentusiaster and planing many big and small events. She`s taken private lessons from several operasingers, and sung in different opera choirs. She has worked in famous operaes like "La Traviata" and "Carmen" with Oslo operafestivalkor. She`s sung at many events and she released the single "What do you want for Christmas" with singer Mike Rokit in December 2009. In 2010 she started her own record label and buisness Versailles Entertainment. She works activily as a singer and is currantly working on her new single, video and the upcoming EP "Ever After".
