Why in the world did you make the second half of the unit so complicated.?!? You just repeat the what you did with the first three rings over and over again. The second half of the unit is made the same way as the first half.

You can use ultra pasteurized heavy whipping cream. I just let it sit out on the counter all day so it's room temp when I make butter. And if you shake it more slowly, like one shake per second, it makes in only about 5 minutes.
