Marek Pavelec (*1989, Czech Republic) started to play the violin at the age of 7. He studied in class of Jindřiška Holotová at the Conservatory of Pilsen, now he studies at Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst, Vienna in class of Jan Pospichal (concertmaster of Vienna Symphony Orchestra). He also takes lessons with Zakhar Bron and had a masterclass with Ida Haendel.
Marek Pavelec makes concerts in Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Sweden, United Arabian Emirates, he even visited Japan for a concert tour twice (2009 and 2010). As a soloist, he cooperates with many orchestras (Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra, Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra, Pilsen Conservatory Orchestra, Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra, International student orchestra „Concert des Cites Unies",...).
Marek Pavelec is a winner of National Competition of Czech Conservatories (2008), double „Pilsen Orfeus" Prize winner (2008 and 2009), 1st prize winner at Vaclav Hudecek Academy in Luhacovice (2010), he records for Czech Radio and Mezzo TV.
