@Omno25 Phil was very good at making downbeat songs sound "poppy". No Reply at All and Invisible Touch are other good examples.

Definitely Phil on drums, Chester was in their touring band so Phil could be out front of stage to sing, but Phil drummed on the studio albums.

Man I wish Phil had stuck to this dark intense stuff than go all schmaltzy adult contemporary on his later albums.
