140hp is a pretty big difference, but so is 3.5s. They did put the underpowered porsche on a unfair track with long straights and slow curves. It would be interesting to see them go at it on a truck that is more suited to european racing. (corvette wins by the bad ass factor)

@labedra Horse power per ton is very close. 335i jb3 is 400hp/1.7ton = 235hp per ton. M5 is 500hp/2.0tons = 250hp per ton. 15hp difference. The only thing you might think about is, do you want to break with the undersized 335i brakes or do you want to have the huge brakes on the m5.
