the rings are on the right track...really love the pan from one planet to the other - gives a great sense of the fold - I always imagined a field of some sort around the vessel - as it is a Holtzmann effect - very good job...and the original is one of my favourites.

Terrible...sets and costumes are too clean. Herbert's Dune universe was all about the 'rot' and grit of humankind in a far off future - this is too clean and pompous. I could only watch 3 minutes...

Saw it at age 11 - loved it then, love it now - story and movie. Love the complexity and love that it took a gamble at the box office making audiences use their brains instead of so many movies these days that are such utter tripe, and spoon feed the plot.

Choose all three Gene slots - metastreum. Then genetic fusion over and over again until you get good stats. I got close to 40 on most stats this way.
