good vid. depends on the sensitivity and direction of the microphone on your camera but generally speaking the microphones are sensitive condensers on all cameras so it shouldn't be that low. maybe you could try boosting it in whatever video editing program you use.

if you've got a sample rate of 20Khz (to keep it simple) and a sine 15kHz, the 5kHz that is over the threshold bounces off the Nyquist frequency and is mirrored giving you a signal of 5kHz instead.

@WulfBand it's drone music but what's so impressive about it is not the music, it's what the pianist is doing. he is playing the left hand ever so slightly faster/slower than the right so that they overlap eachother continuously. it is unbelievable that a human can do this.
