LOGIC 101: (For Dummies) "This is crucial to understand the video to come which will be the most comprehensive explanation for similarities and differences between 2 non-mutually exclusive terms you've ever seen in your life.

AGNOSTICISM VS ATHEISM (for dummies) "It's a more comprehensive redo of the ones I already made. Been busy with work & school but I should have the video up soon"

I'm working on a 'For Dummies' series. Sometimes when you want someone to understand something, you have to dumb it down a bit. My videos tend to be long, illustrative, very informative, comprehensive and weird. Due to the lengthy nature of my videos, I add time stamps in the info section as to allow people to navigate through the various branching topics more easily. I also occasionally bust into relevant song, dance and skit because if I didn't, dumb people wouldn't stick around long enough to really learn anything. Oh yea, I also use profanity and the word stupid a lot for either comedic value or to articulate deserving stupidity.

Videos To Come:
Miracles & the Supernatural(for dummies)

Evolution (For dummies)

Jesus: why there is no reason to believe he was who he claimed to be and good reasons to believe otherwise (for dummies)

Stupid Things [many] Christians Say (for dummies)

Homosexuality & the Bible (for dummies)

I'm simply here to promote critical thinking, logic, skepticism, reason & science — because I care about truth and I care about other people. If you speak to me respectfully, I will return the favor, but don't expect me to NOT mock repetitive stupid reasoning and demonstrably false information. My attacks are usually directed at ideologies, not individuals, unless of course you're insulting me personally; then it's your ass.

About Me:

Half the harm that is done in this world
Is due to people who want to feel important.
They don't mean to do harm — but the harm does not interest them.
Or they do not see it, or they justify it
Because they are absorbed in the endless struggle
To think well of themselves. -T. S. Eliot

To all of you Christians:
but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence (1 Peter 3:15)

Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? (2 Corinthians 13:5)

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance (James 1: 2-3)

Christianity has no morality, just obedience to authority. Look no further than the story of Abraham And Isaac. If god told you to gut your child, would you do it? Would it be moral? Is something moral because God commands it, or does God command it because it's moral?

Atheism is not a religion, a belief system, an ideology, nor a philosophy. Is disbelieving something a belief system? Defined broadly, it's not even a belief. Even if we use the narrow definition which is a belief that there is no god rather than a mere disbelief in god, that still wouldn't qualify as a belief system. A single belief cannot be a belief system.

Brainwashing
1: Intensive, forcible indoctrination, usually political or religious, aimed at destroying a person's basic convictions and attitudes and replacing them with an alternative set of fixed beliefs.
2: The application of a concentrated means of persuasion, such as an advertising campaign or repeated suggestion, in order to develop a specific belief or motivation.
"Christianity is brainwashing by definition"

Tip for those who do this: Before you tell someone you are going to pray for them, take a minute to comprehend what you are actually saying. You are unknowingly presupposing that your god is not omniscient (all knowing) nor omnipotent (all powerful). I know that some of you really do mean well, but some of you don't, and you just throw it in at the end of a conversation when you have nothing left to say, and it's usually purposely condescending. Couldn't you just pray for everyone, everywhere? Could you not instead humbly just think it? Can your god not multitask? This means one of 2 things. You have not actually stopped to think about what you were actually saying, and you were just trying to sound humble - Or, you are just too stupid to put two and two together, or both. Either way you just make yourself sound like a pretentious, condescending A-hole trying to pass it off as humility.

. . . imagine a puddle waking up one morning and thinking, `This is an interesting world I find myself in, an interesting hole I find myself in, fits me rather neatly, doesn't it? In fact it fits me staggeringly well, must have been made to have me in it!' This is such a powerful idea that as the sun rises in the sky and the air heats up and as, gradually, the puddle gets smaller and smaller, it's still frantically hanging on to the notion that everything's going to be alright, because this world was meant to have him in it, was built to have him in it; so the moment he disappears catches him rather by surprise. I think this may be something we need to be on the watch out for. -Douglas Adams

By the way, My father is an evangelical minister, so I really hope you don't have a notion that I'm not at all educated on the bible, and the historicity of Jesus. I Once was convinced I had the "truth" and was filled with the holy spirit. The studying of the bible (which was in an effort to follow in my father's footsteps) is exactly what lead me to become an atheist. I came across atheists and their arguments/objections to my beliefs and faith, then studied them as to be able to provide a defense for the faith I had (as stated in Peter 1 3:15) and lead them to salvation. I didn't want to stop believing, it just happened when I found out my beliefs weren't supported by evidence nor justified like i thought they were since beliefs (unlike actions) are not subject to our will.

I really recommend you be more clear next time so I can actually respond to it in a proper manner.

In Matthew it says not to judge for you will be judged the same way, so I really hope you had a "correct understanding of what Christianity means" when you said this or else you're being a hypocrite, and me supposedly being one of god's children whom he loves just like you, he will judge you according to the same standards. In Luke, you're not supposed to judge according to appearance and only judging Morally upright/justifiable, guiltless, sinless and virtuous judgments, so I hope you're not judging me by my channels appearance or anything morally negative because you will supposedly be accountable to your "creator"

"You have no correct understanding of what Christianity means."

That statement is not cognitively meaningful to me. Do you even know what you meant by it? Indulge me please. Define Christianity, then tell mean what it "means". Do you mean "what it means to be a Christian", because that's an entirely different thing altogether, and meaning is subjective. So therefore, you'd have to then give me a working definition of "meaning". Could you please at least be a tiny bit more coherent when you're leaving comments on my video. It's kind of annoying when people leave vague statements telling me I don't know something without backing it up. The least you could have done was tell me what you think Christianity "means".

Thanks for posting your videos. It's amazing that so many people have forgotten that god is an abstract idea our ancestors made up thousands of years ago and nothing more. It's interesting that people have to justify the universe suddenly existing with belief in a god that they feel no need to justify just suddenly springing into existence. Keep up the good work. At least we have a few intelligent minds left on this planet.
