About Me:

Marathon Kids is a free, running, walking and nutrition program that challenges K-5th graders to run or walk 26.2 miles over the course of 6 months! Children log their progress and healthy eating choices as they go, all in an effort to combat childhood obesity and type II diabetes.

Marathon Kids is a national nonprofit based in Austin, TX. Our evidenced based program is provided FREE to over 213,000 children in eight cities nationwide: Austin, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, El Paso, and Rio Grande Valley.
