About this user

My guitar accompanied me regularly in my younger days
and helped me to overcome those adolescent blues.
Sitting by the campfire, singing and strumming the guitar,
was very hip in those days.
But when I was a student, I stopped playing the guitar.
I dug it out in sentimental moments not more than once a year.
For 18 years my guitar had moved with me several times
only to end up on top of the wardrobe.
It´s been only 4 years since I got the guitar down from the wardrobe so that I might accompany my little daughters when they sang.
At very point in time I heard the music of Ulli Boegershausen for the first time
and bought his CD "Sologuitar" and his music scores.
It was the perfect moment to pursue some new aims in life.
Ulli`s music has given me the motivation and the will to start something new
and to learn some of his compositions while I still can!

I thank Ulli for his music.

Meine Gitarre hat mich in meiner Teenagerzeit intensiv begleitet
und mich gut über diese Zeit gebracht.
Lagerfeuerromantik, Lieder singen und dazu auf den 6-Saiten „schrammeln"
war damals angesagt.
Doch als Studentin habe ich aufgehört zu spielen und habe meine Gitarre höchstens einmal im Jahr in sentimentalen Stunden hervorgekramt.
18 Jahre lang ist sie mehrmals mit mir umgezogen
und landete immer auf irgendwelchen Kleiderschränken.
Erst vor etwa 4 Jahren holte ich sie wieder vom Kleiderschrank herunter,
um die Kinderlieder meiner Töchter zu begleiten.
Genau in dieser Zeit habe ich zum ersten Mal Musik von Ulli Bögershausen gehört
und seine Notenhefte in die Hand bekommen.
Es war genau der richtige Moment.
Seine Musik hat mir wieder die Motivation gegeben, Neues in Angriff zu nehmen
und den Willen, einige seiner Stücke in diesem Leben noch zu lernen.

Für alle, die noch eine verstaubte Gitarre auf dem Kleiderschrank liegen haben:
Es ist nie zu spät!
Jeder Moment mit Musik lohnt sich.

Ich danke Ulli für seine Musik.
