The 90's had some okay moments with alternative rock and some early hip hop but the monotonous barchords of grunge, the vomit inducing era of nu-metal (also early 2000s) and the atrocious skate punk movement destroyed music from that decade...

I think it was racist for Dr Phil to put their hands together and joke they had 'nothing in common'. It implies that because they have the same skin tone they have a common attribute from a dating perspective. Really backward mindset - imagine if he did that for two white people

It's a bit of stupid vs stupid. They're both so simplistic and over the top they actually end up making sense when they pull the other into line.

@EnglishSteel2347 Are you crazy? They're amazing musicians live. His voice is so smooth he tries to sing in a more throaty way to play it down. Their timing is based against the drummer's stick clicks which are barely audible as they're only for the band to hear.

@ChrisDownDenver it's not just the effects it's the arrangements that make NI so good and the mixture of subtle production elements. It's pretty hard to nail.

The last one was Emily Blunt. They don't look that similar, Katy Perry is far more curvacious and has stronger features, Zooey has smaller features and a softer face.

I like how people are acting like a reptile has formed an emotional bond with the child. It doesn't seem like it is seeking out its company. It's probably well fed and has no need to attack the boy.

@Gibsonhb1 The riff is theirs the vocal melody is different. I think the Janet one is superior, but the guitar riff is still the most important part of the song. There's pop and there's pop, I don't think Janet is as bad as current bubblegum pop, especially Pink or Britney.
