themagicalfox--They are obviously annoyed because you have scrimped and saved and now you can afford to buy things and they can't! I would do your serious shopping by yourself and when you are with them, you can pick up something, but I wouldn't buy that much, because they clearly can't handle it! They are probably in debt, and upset with themselves for getting into that situation in the first place.

on top of that, I even helped that girl pay for  half thegas for our shopping trip and payed for my own meal and half the cost for the hotel we were staying in

...(continued) and not to long ago this new girl I befriended started pulling me away from stores I wanted to look at and then starts telling me to put things back like she's my mother! that was also pretty annoying! should I no longer shop infront of my friends that are with me and just online shop or should I not care what they say since its my money and I have the right to shop till I drop if I want too? >_<

I have had this long time problem now, and I've been meaning to ask you, well I have saved my money for a long time now and Im able to afford both things I want and things I need like bills and food and gas, when I would shop at the mall some of my aquantences would give me these annoyed and awkward looks and start talking about how they cant afford to buy things they want since they have bills to pay (not my business >_<!) then start throwing jokes that Im spoiled and I have everything handed to me and ect! it gets really annoying!.....................­......

Should a single woman be allowed to wear a family heirloom diamond ring or one they purchased? I do and I get so much flack for it as I did today at a gathering. "You're NOT married!!!! Or ""Women shouldn't buy their own diamonds, only a man should do that!" "No man is going to want to come near you if you have THAT on!!!" Or the best one: "What are you? A Shopaholic?"Trust me when I say I gave them a look that made them back off...seriously...

sension822-I would sit down and have a talk with her. Tell her that you absolutely have no interest in this guy, and he is simply a friend. And that you have noticed some tension between the two of you, and you really want to remain friends. Sometimes if you just clear the air, it really will help.

Hi, Marie! i'm a girl, and I got a problem with 2 of my friends. we three used to be together to go to uni and hang out.
recently they have something chemistry.and i'm very happy if they can be together.
but the relation between the girl and I becomes a bit subtle, and i guess it is because the boy is also very close to me(as a friend).

Hi Sportsfan--I would talk to the people you feel closest to, and tell them. Because your family loves you and are there for you. As far as getting to know people, I agree, you have to be yourself, because even if you try to be someone you're not, eventually you will have to let your true self come out. So why not do that upfront? The people that take the time to get to know the real you will be your life long friends. Believe me, they are out there!
