I am the author of 'Mandolins, Like Salami,' an historical overview of 20th century mando orchestras in the San Francisco Bay Area with biographical sketches of the famous Italian-American mando players. more than 40+ photos, and 'Mandolin Melodies' contains more than 125 ballo liscio dances, most not available anywhere else. "Ground Zero" for Italian dance music from the early 20th century. you can find me most Saturdays at Caffe Trieste. Producing two CDs soon to be available.

I've played accordion since Kennedy was President. Also, flute and piano. Avid reader and published articles on American literature-Tom Wolfe and Tom Robbins, utopian communities, and opera. I love transcribing ancient manuscripts--and making them available by using Sibelius, a computer friendly software that makes me look like a genius! LOL.
