The Manchild is a disgruntled gamer who shows off games, talks about the latest gaming news, and otherwise makes an ass of himself with endless strings of profanity and pointless rants that do not go anywhere.

I created the character as a kind of saturation of all of my own worst qualities; I'm a 25 year old gamer with a wife and daughter who has to squeeze in fun time whenever he can, and recording my first video Dungeons of Dredmor was at a point when I was at my very worst due to constant technical problems and tiredness. I decided to take those moments and emphasize them in my videos. At this point however, I am still nailing down a permanent style, which will be somewhere in between the ranting negativity and the insight and impressions I am trying to provide.

I am a wannabe writer as well, and I have a blog known as The Manchild Monologues, where I talk about video games, board games, and everything in between. I also write for independent websites on occasion such as Sega-16 as well as the odd fictional story here and there.

Please leave me feedback, because I'd like to know what you think. This is my first foray into producing video reviews of any kind, so any technical advice or opinions on the direction I am taking and the information I am providing, positive or negative, is always appreciated.
