Rock. Playful smiles and punches to the stomach. Straight-line song structures or plasticiser lyrics are as strange to MAN OF THE MATCH as battle rap or rockstar posing. The trio's goal is to celebrate their music in each and every second they're on stage and to strap down the audience into an emotional roller coaster that will strain facial skin just about as much as brain cells. After four years in their old band, they decided to bury "remembered for whatever" to adapt to their advanced demands to their old song writing, which has grown up to a level that shallow minds can appreciate just as well as James Joyce's "Ulysses". This doesn't mean that anything has come to completion or, worse, perfection, but very much closer. Ideas go from powerpop anthyms to progressive rock-themes. We would like to introduce you to our definition of modern music, standing apart from that everyday muck you can get anywhere. Welcome to MAN OF THE MATCH.
