Man Of Kin were formed in 2008 by Jaz Oberoi and Jon Coakley, having initially started out as a couple of jam sessions just for kicks, a fully functioning band quickly emerged. Having played with various musicians and played a few London Shows in the early stages who didn't fit the bill... by the time the band went in to record And So It Begins which was released May 2009, the final line up was complete including Rob Halliday, Carl Stanley and Aaron Waddingham.

Man Of Kin has been a buzz word in the UK for 2 years with the band building a strong and loyal fanbase, something that is very difficult to do in the UK. The band have mainly achieved this by touring and gigging extensively. Man Of Kin have received rave reviews for all albums and demo's and are currently in the process of recording a new album entitled "Reality Check" tentatively due out mid-February.

In August 2010, Man Of Kin signed to Black Sun Music Management who had strong belief in the band attitude and ability. Since then the band have gone from strength to strength having already ventured abroad having toured Brazil.

Man Of Kin are now considered a great prospect in the UK to make a serious impact and are looking to take that potential on the road with tours upcoming in USA, Europe, Asia and Australia. Priding themselves on being a hard working band not looking for a quick fix, Man Of Kin are fully on schedule to achieve their dreams and aspirations.
