HCBailly, you may not be aware, but when a character is casting/channeling a spell, their evade is equal to zero for the duration of the cast. Also, more often than not, they take increased damage while casting. These are just things I've observed during my playthroughs of the game.

I think a good ratio would be 2:1 new games to old games. That way we stay current with new tactics for the patches, but still get to enjoy older, just-as-epic games.

I had my summoner use MDef UP, and had a dancer use the dance that lowered enemy magic attack. If you'd like to speed it up even more, have someone with the knight break abilities lower the magic attack of the boss even more.
