kristlkrost, I agree with you about Jeff Buckley's version - it's way over the top. Love Beck's take on this song.
Incidentally, I used to own the Big Star's vinyl album and on the label this song was originally listed as Kanga Roo.
The camera angle for General Ripper is positively phallic, n'est-ce pas?
