I live in Texas, (ancestors arrived in the 1800's; both European and Native American ancestors that intermarried some of them). I love American history and am sometimes caught in a time warp. I have so many interests and it's hard to stay focused on one. That is why you may see different kinds of favorites from all over the place; I can't stick to one topic!
I love all types of films: Asian films: Those with beautiful cinematography and mystical story lines; Bollywood films: so colorful and joyful; Japanese Horror films: Japense totally own this genre with the best horror films that many American filmmakers "remake"; S Korean horror films: along with Japense South Korean horror films are eerie and supernatural; Various European films with great storylines and character development; American films: uhh, Westerns, however the Spagetti Westerns are the best; those directed by Italian filmmakers. I'm up for a hilarious comedy when one can be found.
Politically? I am a political atheist. I support the Constitution and Bill of Rights; and most politicians use the Constitution as toilet paper. Washington DC is for special interests, political favors, and Wallstreet. BTW, I just read a report that came out recently; there are 237 Congressmen that are millionaires, a few are worth over 100 million dollars. Even in a recession they gave themselves a raise as well. They suck out loud. Only a handful remain that actually give a darn.
Television: British Comedies; old school: Are You Being Served?, Blackadder (seasons 2-4), Keeping Up Appearances, Absolutely Fabulous, Monty Python, French & Saunders, Father Ted, and old old school Benny Hill.
Cable: Project Runway, (seasons 1 & 4 are faves thus far), A couple of news opinion people (that I won't mention as I don't want to start any negator comments just because you disagree w/those that I actually agree with); Ghost Hunters, various programs on TLC, Discovery, etc. (In other words, no primetime network stuff). Although I like Ellen Degeneres' show; she's funny and makes ppl happy.
Music: anything but trashy hip hop. (The gangster crap is so old with the cap in the a$$, calling women bitches & ho's, and totally disrespecting women, and sex sex sex...get a new routine already; NOTHING POSITIVE about this music!)
I love Native American artwork, jewelry, and crafts. I love American history also.
