Peter Jackson pussied out and made District 9 and James Cameron decided to make Avatar (not the airbender shit) So Steven Speilberg is in and is "Abosolutely stunned!" by the books, games, and franchise. If Speilberg makes a Halo movie (release date 2011 or so they say) then it can beat box offic for sure cause 86.3% of people know about Halo. So Hollywood here my statement: WE WANT HALO TO BE A MOVIE!!! Not some other sc-fi gay starship trooper shit!
