Meet Mami Uno, a 22 year old R&B singer from Toronto whose music is gaining international attention across all genres. Her lyrics are crude and have the original street-grit of Brooklyn-based Hip Hop, but they're delivered through melodies that translate the smooth curves of R&B and a voice that has the strength of Soul. Mami Uno's music discusses topics normally reserved for male players in the industry, but from a females' perspective that is powerful without reverting to her own sexuality. Starting her musical career at only 9, Mami Uno was asked to perform every Saturday at the Brunswick House where she was then titled the "Tiger Woods of the Blues." Showcasing such a soulful and mature voice at only 9 years old caught the interest of CBC producers who then did an entire special on young singer entitled "The Ten Year Old Powerhouse," motivating her to continue on with her passion for music and the arts.

Ever since then Mami Uno has been continuously mastering all her lyrics through personal experiences and emotions since the release of her first mixtape album at the tender age of 17. It's safe to say Mami Uno is no stranger to the Canadian Hip Hop industry, collaborating with such artists as Angerville, Baby Grhyme, Code Blue, Lefty "LeffRakk", Mayson Payne, Rich Kidd, Ryan Fields, Sista D, Tommy Spitz, T-West and many more. Her uncompromising hustle has won her the respect of both peers and industry executives, crowning her the title of Toronto's Underground Queen of R&B.
