I agree with his first 2 points. His 3rd point seems kind of weak to me and absolves those who responded to Governmental rules or standards of any blame. In other words, it takes 2 to tango.

Based on this one song, I think this woman has a lot of potential. I have never seen Simon break his cool man act and give a big "whooo" to anybody (around 2:37). I think this format is a good one in that the audience gets involved and it's not just strictly up to the judges.

@1Avion1 The percentage you quote is actually the number that are technically overweight, not obese. The NIH (National Institutes of Heath) state that the percentage of OBESE Americans is actually around 30%.
