Malcolm is the first cat to be appointed a diplomatic mascot for the Nation of Nagalim. Because Malcolm Winston Forbes is connected he is trying to raise awareness about the Naga struggle for independence -similar to Tibet story, but the difference is that they are a 95% Christian country and have been forcibly occupied by the Government of India. Malcolm is the first cat of priviledge who wants to give back to society by helping the humans orphans of Nagalim.
