@TheLordNebiros Well he would, if the materials he used were still in the graveyard. In this case, his monsters were removed. So he wouldn't have been able to summon anything.

Actually for the change of heart I''m not sure about the master collection one why it would say magic, but for the old change of heart some cards say spell because they were still being printed after LON for like tins or something. I have a raigeki for instance that says spell and it was from LOB.
