The cynicism in your comment is far too well hidden. Why did you delete your own comment?.

Hi, good for you - Napoleon in my opinion was mad, but got power as a result of the failings of the directory. He thought he was controlled by a little red genie but kept disobeying "its" rules - how insane is that? It is a crying shame he betrayed his own revolution despite once being a Jacobin, people had great hope in him. Another great historical tragedy. He didn't have a Napoleon complex though - high height was the average height of a french man. Anyway have a nice day!

It's because the impressionists were all influenced by Turner with some copying his style almost completely, Turner had this effect on them because he believed you could create emotion from the landscape. Lots of artists left France because of the Franco-Prussian war for London which is where they saw his paintings.

I realise I haven't said anything in a while just thought I would apologize as the last comment I wrote it sounds very arrogant, I didn't intend for it to come out that way. What's your opinion on Bradley Manning btw?

Sorry, but Labour is only let in government now if it free-market (yawn). Did you read the Guardian article by the same guy I wrote about earlier? Sorry for being a bit poncy but it is a very good article. I realise I have said all this before but how many times can you vote for a party in the interest of the workers then have them crushed under the jackboot of capitalism. What is even worse is that even before "new labour" Labour has had many Iraqs and Blairs over the years and even Lenin realised it was run by the rich. But of course I am being pretty negative- as I have said before there is no real democratic "workers party" YET. However I don't think Labour is going to start acting as one any time soon. Socialist Party is definitely the best bet (right now) I agree- the revolution will come to the UK first- but only after the people have had enough of Labour-Conservative capitalism.
