Lack of standardization will be a problem. Compare USS Fort Worth to USS Independence and USS Freedom. They are all different designs. This creates problems in interchangeability of parts and systems.

It's an interesting experiment, but that is all it is. An experiment.

A smaller, redesigned version of the old Soviet MI 12, but interesting none the less.

On a larger, more engineered version, you could bring the props close to one another by synchronizing their rotation so the blades don't hit one another.

This vessel is very, very limited in it's usefulness. I see them painted white/orange or mothballed like the PHMs in five to ten years...

About fucking time. We've had these huge smoothbore cannon for decades and nobody thought to revisit the canister rounds used in old cannon.

Now I wouldn't use it as much against massed infantry. Try birdshot for those pesky attack heilcopters. Tungsten shot would tear those composite rotors to...
