New Learn Pilates App! http://mhlo.co/qv... Could it be true? Could the iconic, longest-running sitcom in the history of television be shutting down for good? It could be true if the financial negotiations between the cast and 20th Century Fox doesn't reach a conclusion soon. The Simpsons' six principal actors (Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardly Smith, Hank Azaria, and Harry Shearer) are facing a rather stark ultimatum: take a 45 percent pay cut, or else -- the "or else" being that the show will end its run at the end of its 23rd season, which just premiered on Fox in September.
The cast each earns about $8 million annually for about 22 weeks' work, but they don't get any of the ancillary money. Fox has the leverage, because it will continue to make billions from the show once it ends, while the cast members will make almost nothing. The show has had a long history of money disputes, and each has been resolved in the past without disrupting the series. Created by Matt Groening and on the air since 1990, The Simpsons has won 27 Emmy Awards and was named the "Best Show of the 20th Century" by Time Magazine. So what do you think? Will The Simpsons be cancelled over financial issues? Leave a comment below and let us know.

New Learn Pilates App! http://mhlo.co/qv... Hank Williams Jr. is more than ready for some political football.
The 62-year-old country singing star and voice of the Monday Night Football theme song, Williams appeared on "Fox and Friends" this morning to talk politics via satellite hookup. He got right into it, telling the hosts that he didn't like any of the candidates in the GOP primary for President, and that John Boehner's golf game with Barack Obama was a major mistake.
"That would be like Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu... They're the enemy... Obama! And Biden! Are you kidding? The Three Stooges." The conservative country singer went on to say, "We're more polarized than ever, you know that."
In a press release, ESPN, which now hosts Monday Night Football, said: "While Hank Williams, Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize that he is closely linked to our company through the open to Monday Night Football. We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result we have decided to pull the open from tonight's telecast."
So what do you think? Should ESPN cut out Hank William Jr.'s opening for calling Obama Hitler? Leave a comment below and let us know.

New Learn Pilates App! http://mhlo.co/qv... Since last March there have been ten incidences of attempted sexual assault and one rape in and around Brooklyn's Park Slope neighborhood. And some women who live there say police officers are telling them if they want to avoid being attacked, they should dress more modestly. The Wall Street Journal reports that women in the area dressed in shorts, dresses and skirts have been warned by the police that they're "exactly the kind of girl this guy is targeting." One woman coming home from the gym in a pair of shorts in a t-shirt said an officer told her "such clothing could make the suspect think he had 'easy access.'"
The New York Police Department's official position on the matter is that while their officers have cautioned women about the attacks, they're not dispensing fashion advice. They simply want to make sure that women in the area are aware of who this assailant is coming after. "Officers are not telling women what not to wear—there's a TV series that does that," Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne tells the Journal in an email interview. "They are simply pointing out that as part of the pattern involving one or more men that the assailant(s) have targeted women wearing skirts."
But in Park Slope, which is famous for being liberal and feminist, the campaign has provoked fury. Jessica Silk, founder of neighborhood watch group Safe Slope, told the Wall St Journal that such a measure was 'completely inappropriate'. On her website is an open letter to the NYPD which states:
"These messages place the blame on women, including the survivors of assaults, in our neighborhood. Women should be able to wear whatever they want without fear of violence. It is the job of the police to protect people from harm—not blame them for it." So what do you think? Is the NYPD just looking out for scantily-clad women who are vulnerable? Or are they being inappropriate with their remarks? Leave a comment below and let us know.

New Learn Pilates App! http://mhlo.co/qv... A Florida teenager is behind bars as an accessory to the brutal murder of 16-year-old Jacob Hendershot. But that may not be the most shocking part of the crime - Stephanie Pistey says she believes she's part vampire and part werewolf. Florida police say that, in July, Pistey's friends lured Hendershot to a house, killed him, and then left his body in a storm drain. Five people so far, including Pistey, are charged in connection to the crime with either murder or accessory after the fact.
Police have previously speculated that there may be more to the case. They say the murder suspects may have been involved in a vampire cult, WTSP reports, and Pistey's claims to vampiredom appear to give credence to the idea. In a jailhouse interview, Pistey told local station WJHG, "Since I was like, 12...I know this is going to be crazy, but I believe that I'm a vampire. Part of a vampire and part of a werewolf." The 18-year-old denies drinking Hendershot's blood after the murder, but reportedly claims she has drunk the blood of her fiance and co-defendant William Chase, 25. On her Facebook profile, under favorite quotations, she writes "I hate God." Musical choices include Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana, which could be a first for a vampire-werewolf hybrid.
Although she has not yet been convicted of the crime, Pistey says she expects to be behind bars for a long time.
"Now that I'm here, I'm pretty much figuring out that I'm just going to stay here the rest of my life."
