@therunningmanlives Talk to a Hebrew scholar... Elohim has both singular and plural useage - only its "shape" is plural. Elohim gets grammatically paired with a SINGULAR verb form nearly 1500 times in the OT. so the Elohim in that case HAS TO be single to maintain grammatical agreement .
