It's strange, whenever I mention the Pogles Wood to friends my age, nobody knows what I'm talking about either. They remember the Wooden Tops, Bill and Ben, Trumpton, The Herbs, etc ... But mention Pogle, Wife, Pippin and Tog ... they think I'm making it all up. How great to find proof...

For some reason this track always reminds me of the American TV mini series "Centennial".

Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits certainly have the ability to tell a good story whilst weaving into some of the best rock music of all time.

A classic song, by a top class group.

Mostly Autumn at their most awesome ... I still think "Passengers" was their best album and this track just blows me away... Come on, let's get out the air guitar.
