Scratching and staying up when all around you are on the ground or heading down gives a great feeling.

Its more of a challenge than staying up on a good / easy day.

You really have to fly and look for the lift. Read the hill, and "see" the wind, just like water in a small stream.

I agree, flying with paragliders is like driving on the motorway with inverted witches hats all over the fast lane.
