Hey All,
I'd like to call myself a singer songwriter, but I guess that should be left for someone else to decide. I really much prefer to just play guitar. I enjoy just getting together with different people and jamming.
I've played with several groups in the past. But right now I just try to have fun with my music in whatever way becomes available. There was a time when I took my music much to seriously and walked out on it for a while. When it gets to the point of playing gigs or practice 7 nights a week, it gets to be more like a job, and that just ain't cool.
I tend to lean toward accoustic playing more than being plugged in. Although I've got nothing against plugging in. I've been known to plug in an amp & crank up an electric too. That's just a matter of preference. My musical preferences are extremely varied though. It might be rock one day, blue grass the next, then maybe blues the next, depends on my mood. Guitar would be my instrument of choice.
