Tutorial to restore Seagate hard drives with BSY error (unrecognized in BIOs) and LBA=0 to normal function without formatting or loss of files.
Repairs like this would normally cost you over $200 or risk of a damaged drive sending it to.from Seagate. But you can easily repair it yourself for under $20! This video did take time and effort to make and am now devoting my time answering technical questions about the procedure.

Where did you get the drivers?
In MY case, the USB cable detected and used my Motorola Comp Modem drivers which were used for my RAZR phone. Download drivers here: http://07b4ce8d.thesefiles.com

Why use the CA-42? Can I use a different cable?
Please do not ask me if your cable will work or not, I honestly do not know. The CA-42 is a tested and verified working cable that has been successful in recovery. This post has pics of USB cables that may or may not work. Post #1757 (Scroll down a bit!)

How did you provide power to the hard drive?
The same way it has been powering on the whole time, the Molex-SATA power adapter.
Can I plug it in while the computer is on?
Yes.
If for some reason you can't use the SATA power cable, the Gradius2 tutorial above has a method of using a battery (very risky if you don't know what you're doing!)

I suggest not getting the updated firmware for now as they have been known to cause hard drives to re-brick themselves or not function properly. Always back up your files on other media (DVDs, flash drives, etc.)

Us YouTubers want Lisa Nova to stop using her spam bots on our channels without our permission, or have her account suspended for violating YouTube's own Terms Of Service Agreement which states:
4 G. You agree not to use or launch any automated system, including without limitation, "robots."
Lisa Nova (aka Lisa Donovan) is a paid Partner with YouTube and is also a paid actress on FOX's MadTV show. She needs to obey YouTube's TOS Agreement like everybody else, or risk losing her channel for good.
There is no reason why other channels who are not getting paid and are not Partners with YouTube are getting their accounts suspended when Lisa Nova's account remains intact.
