My name is Argenis "Ray" Melo and I'm originally from Queens, New York. I'm a musician who sings and plays four different types of instruments (piano, guitar, harmonica, and drums). I can read music and play by ear on the guitar and the piano. I started playing the piano when I was fifteen years and the guitar when I was seventeen years old. I consider myself to be an eclectic musician, who loves to play different genres of music. For almost a year and a half, I've been taking guitar lessons with Clint Stewart, who is an accomplished guitarist. He has taught me about different strum patterns, diatonic and pentatonic scales, improvisation, speed, transcribing, and music theory.
