But that's sort of how I manage my diet. I generally eat more to the healthy side if not neutral, then when I eat unhealthy I counter it out with specific healthiness.

Well I wouldn't push her to read Harry Potter, but putting it in the same league as Twilight IS pretty bad. Harry Potter might not be the best quality writing, but it's certainly not low level fanfiction quality.

I think the main thing that keeps throwing me off is I find the gray to be too light.

Huh, I didn't know about the protestant bannings and stuff like that. Either way, even at the pagan core of it, it's a celebration of the solstice. Everyone has a different story for it though. :D
