About Me:
1968. He started his experience as a Dj in 1987 and released his first record
in 1989. During his dj-nights, he played techno music, especially from north-
Europe, a style that influenced deeply his forthcoming artistic direction.
From 1992 to 1993 Maurizio works as a producer and arranger for Brainstorm
Records where he makes a lot of Techno-Hardcore productions (Bass Solution,
Mosquito, XTC 1 & 2, Tribal Techno, Megamix Maranza) that are then
released in North Europe and are still played in clubs playing Old School genre.
At the end of 1993, under the name of Two Cowboys, Maurizio reached the top of the European Sales Charts with the track titled "Everybody Gonfi Gon". He has been in the English Singles Chart for 2 months reaching position # 6 that allowed him to be guest at Top pf The Pop TV SHOW, performing live with artists such as Elton John, Take That, Pretenders and Aswad.
Thanks to this hit, Maurizio Braccagni made himself known as top deejay playing in many clubs in Europe and remixing many dance and pop acts i.e. Whigfield, JK, Systematic, Daydream & Berri under the name of MBRG and Two Cowboys.
From 1995 to 2002 he works as a remixer for major Emi, BMG e Universal, produces and arranges for SUGAR the track Piccoli già grandi by Gerardina Trovato that will attend Festivalbar in summer 1997.
In 2003 he gave birth to the project DJ LHASA with whom, thanks to the track Giulia, he had a big success and created interest on the new project all over the world, reaching the N.1 in many European charts.
In this period and till 2005 Maurizio attends, as a guest, a lot of TV Shows and performs in clubs all over the world promoting his successes (Giulia, Together Forever, Dancefloor, Dance your Ass Off, Heaven is a place on earth, Super Tanz) and the entire album Teknologia.
In 2006 Maurizio as Ma.Bra. creates the music label MABRA, releasing new recordings as The Riddle, Original Sin and Everybody used till now only during his dj-sets in radios and clubs.
At the end of 2006, he releases the track Cursed Destiny that meets a lot of interest in the North of Europe; it has been given in exclusive license to Andorfine Records for worldwide.
Starting from 2007 Maurizio releases and prints on vinyls and CDs various EP containing, each, 4 Techno Hands up singles. From 2008, thanks to his collaboration with the company Believe, Maurizio enters digital world and is productions start being distributed on the biggest music stores ( iTunes, Amazon.com, Beatsdigital.com, djtunes.com, juno.co.com, musicme.com, Napster.com, trackitdown.net, fnac.com, NokiaMusicStore, Starzik.com, iMusic, 7digital, Dance-Tunes.com, Rhapsody.com, VirginMega.fr,.....
....and more others).
In 2009 Maurizio releases: MA.BRA. ''In Da Club'' (The Album). 2 CD - 40 tracks.
