"Surviving the Coming Zombie Apocalypse - Catastrophes and Human Behavior" is a fully online summer course offered by Michigan State University in which students will learn about the nature, scope and impact of catastrophic events on individuals, families, societies, civilizations, and the Earth itself.

Students will participate in a Catastrophic Event Simulation "The Coronal Mass Ejection Incident" resulting in a Zombie Pandemic in which they are assigned into Survivor Groups located throughout the United States and must face the challenges of living and surviving together during a catastrophic event.

Michigan State University's Summer Study welcomes not only current MSU students but also guest students from other colleges and universities as well as members of the general public.
