MRVPS Origin.
The Mad River Valley Paranormal Society was founded almost by accident in the year 1997 A.D. Then unknown investigators, cryptozoologist Gary M. Deerborn and folklore expert Buck Longbow, were working simutaneous cases in the small town of Enon, Ohio. Gary was following up leads on a missing person case involving the Ohio Grassman(aka BukBuk). Buck was investigating sightings of spectral indians including Geronimo, Sitting Bull and Ira Hayes. Through trial and error it was discovered that the spectral Indians and the Ohio Grassman were in alliance. Gary and Buck had no choice but to join forces. After the Ohio Grassman and his cubs were incinerated by a home-made explosive device, the Spectral Indians returned to their graves and the Mad River Valley Paranormal Society was born. It was only after the election of prolific occultist and alien abductee ,Ted Strickland ,to the Office of Governor that the MRVPS (pronounced merps) were given the full time job of protecting the State of Ohio from all things paranormal.
