@BirthOfSerpents I used to publish a zine make in the day. I interviewed them twice and saw them a bunch of times. I was a big fan of the concept. The music had it good and bad moments.

@mathias2992 Somebody recognized that I re-used most of these lyrics at the end of the cover of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida that we did. Did it because both that song and this song were about serial killers... at least that's what I heard.

@nijimasu1 Probably... there were a lot of live attempts. The lyrics never changed and neither did the guitar hook. By the melody and the basic structure changed about every other year until I think we finally got right. You see all these oldies getting uploaded... just need to get copies of ...

This is the one I wanted to hear. I haven't heard "the Haunting in years and this is one of my favs from that album. This was written back in like 1977 or 78 and was a staple in our live shows. We could barely play our instruments but we were having a lot of fun.

It's hard for me to listen to this old stuff and put myself into the mind-set I had back then. I don't remember being a serial killer or insane. Sounds like I was.

These guys were a huge influence on the creation of death rock and american gothic. Their debut album was constantly blasting from our van's cassette deck as we toured the west in 1979.
