Launch of the MOH Clinical Practice Guidelines on Chronic Hepatitis B Infection on 02 Jul 2011 at the College of Medicine Building Auditorium, MOH. This is an update of the first set of guidelines which was launched in 2003 and includes updated recommendations based on the latest evidence. This set of guidelines aims to assist primary care physicians as well as all healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with chronic hepatitis B infection.
Organized by the MOH Chronic Hepatitis B Infection Clinical Practice Guidelines Workgroup under the auspices of Ministry of Health Singapore

12 May 09 Singapore MOH Press Con on Influenza A(H1N1-2009)
Singapore Ministry of Health held a press conference on 6 May 09 where Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan gave the media updates on the global and local situation and understanding of Influenza A(H1N1-2009). He said that during this brief respite Singapore should prepare for another wave and take its time to learn from countries affected by this one. Minister Khaw painted several scenarios of what might happen when Singapore encounters its first confirmed case. He reminded Singaporeans to be vigilant and to make good personal hygiene a way of life but to go ahead and live life as per normal.

Singapore's Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan said at a Press Conference held 22 Jun 09, that Singapore will be changing its strategy against H1N1 as it moves towards the mitigation stage. He shared 7 measures and how it would help prepare the country in mitigating Influenza A (H1N1).
